Overview

This policy describes how Marque collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use marquecars.com.

Information we collect

Marque collects information you provide directly (when you submit a quote request, sign up for the journal, or contact us) and limited information collected automatically (server logs, basic analytics including page views and referrers).

That automatic collection includes which links you follow off the site. When you open a dealer’s website, an image credit, or any other link that leaves Marque, the page also asks our own server for a small file and names which link it was — the dealer’s name, say, and the hostname you went to. It is how we count whether the dealer listings are used at all. It sets no cookie, goes to us and to nobody else, and carries nothing about you beyond what any request to our servers already includes. It never carries the link’s own address or anything you typed.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to fulfill your request — for example, routing a quote inquiry to the relevant dealer or sending you the journal newsletter. We use automatically-collected information to understand how the site is used and improve it.

Sharing

We share information with dealers when you submit a quote request to them. We do not sell personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes without your consent.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
